About Scott

Scott Hammersla is the founder and lead instructor at Pure Strike PBG.

Scott has played golf for more than 30 years, maintains a scratch handicap, competes regularly, and has spent over 25 years evaluating golf courses for a nationally recognized golf publication.

His experience as both a player and course evaluator provides a unique perspective on the fundamentals that help golfers improve and perform under pressure.

With a passion for teaching and a deep understanding of swing fundamentals, Scott helps golfers develop consistency, confidence, and trust in their game.



Scott believes great coaching starts with listening. Every golfer brings different strengths, challenges, and goals, and instruction should reflect that—not force players into a one-size-fits-all swing.
